Nasal correction

Apart from the eyes and mouth, the nose is our most important facial feature. It is not for nothing that we speak of something obvious being “as plain as the nose on your face”. Unfortunately, it is not only boxers who have crooked noses. Even without any external cause, we may have an ugly nose shape that we find bothersome and unattractive. The problem: While other “beauty flaws” can often be easily hidden or concealed, the nose is always present. It is therefore more than understandable that an awkwardly shaped nose can become a burden. The good news, however, is that no one has to resign themselves to the shape of their nose. Within the framework of a nose correction, a harmonious facial profile can be ensured – and in many cases without surgery. For example, in our private practice in Munich.

Nasal correction without surgery

Many corrections can be made to the nose nowadays without surgery. The advantage of a gentle nasal correction without surgery is that it avoids anaesthesia, postoperative wound pain, bleeding and resulting long downtime. Moreover, the corrections are reversible. All changes can be reversed. With surgery this is obviously not so simple to do.

Hyaluronic acid can be used, for example, to reduce a nose bump or even make it disappear completely, as well as to straighten a slightly crooked nose (this has no effect on the nasal septum)

A combination of hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin can be effective in raising the nose tip. Botulinum toxin, particularly can be used for patients who pull the nose down when laughing.

Botulinum toxin can also be a very effective treatment for so-called “nasal flutter”.

This also has a narrowing effect on the nostrils. This effect can be strengthened by applying hyaluronic acid to various locations (e.g. above the nose tip and between the nostrils along the nasal septum and at its base)

What nasal corrections do we perform

In principle, mild to moderately severe cases can be corrected with our combined treatments.

• Nose bumps, saddle nose
• crooked nose
• Indents in the bridge of the nose, drooping
• nose tip, too wide nostrils
• “Fluttering of the nostrils”

In addition, our procedures are suitable for the correction of small defects after surgical nasal correction.
