Body Contouring Munich
A balanced diet, jogging through the Olympic Park, yoga in the English Garden, cycling on the Isar Cycle Path or the Mangfall Cycle Path, strength and endurance training in one of the many fitness studios in Munich – and yet fat deposits still appear under your clothes? It’s annoying when you do so much for your body and annoying fat deposits just won’t go away.
In this case, you may have a fat distribution disorder. With the so-called body contouring, we can optimize your body proportions in our private practice for dermatology and aesthetics in Munich.
What is body contouring?
The term body contouring (also: body shaping) stands for various medical-aesthetic treatments that aim to positively change the shape and proportions of the body. Body contouring is about fat reduction or dissolution of fat cells as well as tightening of the body.
Attention: All treatments are intended to sculpt the body and create beautiful proportions, but not to lose weight. Therefore, they cannot replace a diet.
Body contouring for fat distribution disorders
Unpleasant rolls of fat tend to settle on the chin, stomach, legs, buttocks, under the armpits or on the back. If these cannot be fought by diet and sports programs and despite iron will, patience and perseverance, often a fat distribution disturbance is present.
The number and distribution of fat cells in the individual parts of the body are determined from birth. The number of formed fat cells remains constant after puberty. The amount of fat stored in them can be reduced by diet and exercise. However, the total number of fat cells always remains the same.
These cells may be naturally present in higher numbers in some parts of the body. If fat is removed from the body through a changed diet or fitness training, all fat cells in the body lose mass equally. Only their content shrinks, but the number remains the same. When losing weight, it is, therefore, possible that curves and fat pads are retained in certain parts of the body – because more cells are present here than in the neighboring region, for example.
The genetically determined number of fat cells cannot be reduced naturally. This can result in disharmonious body proportions.
This is exactly where the measures of body contouring come in – with various methods the number of fat cells can be reduced and thus a beautiful body silhouette can be achieved.
Body Contouring Munich: These body areas can be treated
Thanks to our various methods, which we use in our practice in Munich, we have a treatment available for every part of the body and every fat deposit. For optimal results, the methods can also be combined.
Body Contouring Munich: possibilities and methods
In our practice, we use five treatment methods to optimize your figure.
Your advantage: All our options are device-based or based on injections. In this way, no classic surgery is necessary. The associated surgical and anesthetic risks are eliminated. Our treatments are gentle, effective, sustainable and safe because they are carried out by a very experienced doctor.
A cocktail of active ingredients is injected under the relevant fat deposits with a fine cannula, which melts the fat cells. They decompose and are disposed of by the body’s lymphatic system.
Excess fat cells are made to vibrate with a special radio frequency. This creates frictional heat that destroys the fat cells. In a natural purification process, the fat cells are permanently removed from the body.
Radiofrequency energy is applied to the subcutaneous tissue with a fine probe. The resulting heat causes the collagen fibers to contract and stimulates the formation of new collagen. The tissue is tightened and gains new elasticity and freshness. In this way, small fat deposits can be eliminated and body areas can be lifted.
The skin surface and deep tissue of the area to be treated are heated with radio/ultrasound. This causes fat cells to die off, which are then disposed of naturally by the body. At the same time, the skin and connective tissue are tightened. We also use this treatment successfully against cellulite.
With this treatment, we cut shortened connective tissue fibers in a minimally invasive procedure under local anesthesia. In this way, we can counteract cellulite dimples on the legs and buttocks.
