Ivaylo Ivanov

Mr Ivanov studied medicine and chemistry at the University of Cologne. During his studies, he taught chemistry to medical students, wrote a textbook on the subject and received several teaching awards. He also regularly published articles on biochemical and dermatological topics such as UV radiation, antioxidants and retinoids with one of the leading medical publishers. Mr Ivanov has also been a consultant for a cosmetics company for over 10 years, demonstrating his fascination with dermatology and cosmetics.

After graduating from medical school, Mr Ivanov began his training as a dermatologist at the Clinic for Dermatology and Allergology in Hanau. There he learned not only conservative and surgical dermatology but also how to use all common laser systems. He also expanded the range of chemical peels (including trichloroacetic acid). Mr Ivanov then worked at the dermatology clinic of the University Hospital Erlangen, where he dealt with complex clinical pictures. The last part of his specialist training took place in a renowned dermatology practice in Düsseldorf.

In addition to the German specialist title in skin and sexually transmitted diseases, Mr Ivanov has held the ‘European Board of Dermatovenereology Diploma’ (EBDVD), an optional, internationally harmonised examination of the European Board of Dermatovenereology, since October 2024.

Mr Ivanov covers the full range of dermatology and venereology, with a particular interest in laser dermatology and working with energy-based devices that stimulate skin health in a natural way.
